Psychosocial problems are very common in eunuchoids and may be related to the impact of the underlying disorder on physical appearance, which leads to an inability to overcome the sense of inferiority from childhood.

Such patients want to alter their boyish appearance to a more masculine appearance. One of the easiest methods to achieve this goal is follicular unit transplantation (FUT).

A beardless case treated with FUT is reported. This treatment modality in medically untreated beardless patients has not been reported in the literature to date. The wide use of FUT for baldness encouraged us to employ the procedure on a beardless patient.

The procedure was completed in two sessions. In the first session, 1200 one or two-hair micrografts were transplanted to the perioral (goatee) region and extended to the sideburn region. In the second session, 700 one or two-hair micrografts were transplanted to the moustache area.

After completion of the procedure to the planned area, a strong masculine appearance was achieved; in addition, the patient was very satisfied with his new look.
